Kidderminster

Amada UK are the British arm of a global Japanese machine tool manufacturer. The original building, designed by Glazzard Architects, had remained virtually unchanged since its construction in the mid 1980’s. The refurbishment works were driven by the need to meet the clients new corporate image as well as providing greatly enhanced environmental standards.

The existing building involved elaborate exposed structural steel framework which required complex alterations to enable all of the structure to become totally concealed in line with the new corporate brand. Further complexities were involved in extending the building and phased occupation requirements.
