GRAINGERS

This project forms part of the wider St Martin’s Quarter development and involves the refurbishment and conversion of an existing building to provide two office units arranged across ground and first floors.

The design approach focused on retaining as much of the original building fabric as possible, preserving the character and material quality of the existing structure. New interventions were deliberately expressed in contrast, using contemporary materials and carefully composed elements to clearly distinguish the new work from the historic fabric.

The refurbishment was supported through the Redundant Building Grant scheme and aims to establish a new benchmark for small-scale office accommodation within Worcester’s historic city centre, combining the character of a historic building with contemporary working environments.
