SANSOME PLACE

Courtyard Apartments: This project involved the construction of two new residential buildings alongside the refurbishment of a former Victorian workshop, creating a total of 13 apartments.

The design of the new buildings draws on the scale, proportions and material language of historic Victorian industrial architecture, allowing them to sit comfortably alongside the retained workshop structure. The refurbishment carefully preserves the character of the original building while adapting it for contemporary residential use.

Together, the buildings are arranged to enclose a shared courtyard, providing a private amenity space for residents and establishing a calm and sheltered environment within the development.
