Bindles Restaurant, Worcester

This Victorian building in a prominent position on the edge of Worcester City Centre was carefully refurbished and converted from antiques showroom to a destination restaurant. The building has been carefully converted with minimal disruption to the original fabric and spatial arrangements.

In addition, a new glass box was added to the side of the property and sits in respectful contrast to the building and context and provides additional ground and first floor eating areas with dramatic views towards Worcester Cathedral.

The success of the scheme has led to Glazzard Architects being commissioned to further extend the building to provide more covers and better presence from the City Walls Road.
